Web site marketing 101.

I'd love a dollar for every time I've read an advertisement for, Web site development from $500".

As my old marketing lecturer used to say. Perception is reality!!
If something is cheap or FREE it's not worth much.

It reminds me of the story about the guy who put his used fridge out on the nature strip with a sign saying FREE.

Not one enquiry!

Completely frustrated, the next weekend he put out a new sign saying. "Great Secondhand fridge. Excellent working order. Only $45".

That Saturday morning the fridge was sold.

As all web developers know. Developing a web site is the easy part. Getting it to rank high in search engines requires a lot of time a testing.

Even if you charge $25 p.h. that's only 20 hours.

Twenty hours to develop a website that has:

Integrated Google Adsense
Integrated Google Analytics
A Blog
Newsletter subscription
A Google Adwords campaign
A Mail/Fax order form (for offline payments)
Integrated PayPal (for online payments)
Audio/Video Testimonials
Submission into all major search engines
High rankings in search engines
